Adventure begins with an idea.
Business adventures begin with an idea of what could be. Perhaps a way of improving the world or benefitting the lives of many with a product or service. The mysterious forces, principles, and “rules” of brand building fascinate me and completely capture my curiosity. Although much of brand building grows from foundational concepts, every company, project, and need is unique.
As a freelance brand advisor, guiding businesses in building and managing a valued brand is my happy place. I enjoy working with global brands as much as I enjoy bringing global brand experience to grassroots startups, solopreneurs, and small teams.
Why I believe “simple” matters.
To thrive as a business, it is vital that customers choose you. Ah! But WHY should a customer choose YOU among all other options? This is a pandora’s box of a question and from my experience, it’s in crafting simple tight language that we ensure the answers to these many questions are obvious to both your internal teams and your buyers. Simple is not easy but it is vital for designing coherence among your various business activities. Simple requires choice–often a hard choice between many good options–and a commitment to stay the course. I believe simple ideas are easy to understand, repeat, and remember. And because of this, Simple [big] ideas spread.
